Job Title: JAVA Web Developer    (2 Openings)

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire

Rate: $Open

Interview: Phone + F2F

 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a software developer under the guidance of more senior developers/architects
• Build and maintain J2EE web applications (Intranet web sites, administrative/workflow systems)
• Work with requirements analysts to learn the requirements for the system(s)
• Work with software testers to resolve software defects
• Offer recommendations on improving the software and development practices

 

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of software developer experience working on projects building J2EE Web Applications using Apache, Tomcat, Struts, Hibernate, and Oracle database.
• Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
