Description

This request is for one (1) NEW POSITION needed for the development and support of web-based, Java applications for internet and external users. Business areas include: employee pension, insurance, and accounting programs. Existing applications need on-going productivity improvements and older web and mainframe apps needs reengineering and updating. Major projects are on-going to develop self-service, portal apps for employers, employees, and pension annuitants.

Application Environment: Java, IBM WebSphere RAD, Linux PC application servers, DB2 on mainframe, Open Source tools such as Bugzilla, CVS, Ant. Crystal, Jasper, AFP reporting tools. Web apps interface with existing COBOL/CISC applications.
