Title : Electrical / Comp Engineer - Tool & Test

Duration : 4 months

Rate : $40/hr

Location : Quakertown PA

 

Academic Degree(s) required:

4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

 

Experience Required:

·        Minimum 5 years experience in analog electrical design

·        Minimum 5 years experience in software (C++, C#)

·        Understand equipment safety requirements (i.e. grounding, 2 hand rule, Class I, II)

·        Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485)

·        Good communication skills including the ability to quickly and effectively communicate issues and concerns.

 

 

Experienced Desired:

·        Manufacturing test equipment design and implementation

·        Knowledge of National Instruments equipment

·        Knowledge of PCAD schematic

·        Visual Studio experience

·        Experience working in larger development teams (>5 designers)

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

·        Design of manufacturing test equipment (analog and software)

·        Work with outside suppliers in the design / fabrication of this equipment

·        Oversee the qualification of this equipment (Gage studies, cycling, etc.)

·        Document test systems (Schematics, BOM’s)
