General

Are you a software developer who has expertise with Microsoft Office technology? Join our development team in this new position creating software for Microsoft Office and SharePoint integration.

 

Department       :               Software Development

 

Responsibilities

• Create software components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models for Microsoft Office and SharePoint integration
• Assist in bringing excellent software to the Internet and network environments
• Build core business logic for our Web-based GIS applications
• Work closely with other programmers and developers to design and develop software components for the management, manipulation, and display of a wide variety of graphic and image data

 

Requirements

• Bachelors or masters in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field, depending on position level
• A minimum of two years of SharePoint software development experience
• Strong .NET platform experience
• Expertise with Microsoft technology (.NET, C#, Silverlight, ASP.NET, SharePoint)
• At least one year of MOSS implementation experience and five or more years of experience building Web-based business applications
• Experience and knowledge of SharePoint object model, feature packaging, and Web Part Development
• Ability to master new technology quickly and to work in a constantly evolving environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team

 

Recommended Qualifications

• Familiarity with GIS/ESRI software
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (RAD, RUP) and design techniques (UML, Entity Relationship Diagramming, Data Flow Diagramming)
• Background in graphics programming and WPF
