Weblogic Administrator

Leading company in Media & Entertainment is seeking a seasoned Weblogic Administrator for a consulting engagement. This individual will be responsible for supporting both the development and production environments - including tasks such as: server configuration, performance measurement, performance tuning, disaster recovery and other day-to-day as well as strategic planning functions. High energy, fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
Ø Extensive knowledge of weblogic 8.1, 9.2, 10 and 10.3
Ø Extensive knowledge of the JVM (jdk 1.4, 5 and 6)
Ø Good knowledge of shell scripting such as sh and ksh
Ø Good knowledge of multi-tiered application environment (web, app and DB connectivity)
Ø Good troubleshooting skills a must
Ø Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ø Familiar with Redhat LINUX and jBoss would be helpful
Ø Must have strong experience working in clustered environments
Ø Willingness to follow instructions, open to new ideas and can provide input on important proposed environment changes
Ø Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills
