Required Skills:

Ø      Excellent communication skills and strong ability to work effectively with the business and technical people

Ø      The candidate should experience in architecting and implementing EDI in healthcare industry with knowledge of HIPAA standards

Ø      The candidate should have hands on knowledge of Edifecs, IBM message broker, IBM TX extender, IBM monitoring tools - Tivoli, and MQ Messaging

Ø      Knowledge of TriZetto HIPAA gateway and Facets is required

Ø      Experience with EDIFECS preferred but other EDI system experience will be considered

Ø      The candidate should have implemented EDI using one or all of above tools

Ø      The candidate should have knowledge of infrastructure requirements for EDI and operational requirements for EDI implementation

Ø      The candidate should have knowledge about all transaction flows for healthcare

Ø      The candidate should have hands on experience in building and configuring various levels of EDI validation using Edifecs Spec builder

Ø      The candidate should have hands on knowledge of setting up trading partners

Ø      The preferred candidate will have experience in working with on-site and off-shore resources, and a working knowledge of EDI, Enterprise Application Integration & Service-Oriented Architecture.

Ø      The candidate should have experience in leading technical team to deliver EDI solutions and implement mandates

Ø      The candidate should have experience in building EDI reusable technical components

Ø      Builds strong partnership with business partners and team

Ø      Strong knowledge of technical tools and hands on experience

Ø      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ø      Teamwork - demonstrated ability to build partnerships and maintain cohesive relationships

Ø      Bachelor's degree and minimum 8-12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ø      Excellent human relations and verbal/written communication skills.

Ø      Effective negotiation skills.

Ø      Familiarity with overall business operations within functional area. Knowledge of automated systems design and development processes.

Ø      Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Ø      Good computer skills to access data and information and to test systems changes.
