Java Developer with FLEX experience

 

Location: COSTA MESA CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

 

Bill Rate Range - $40/hr c2c

 

Start Date: Nov-01-09

End Date: Apr-30-10

 

Skills Required:

Ø      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Ø      Minimum of 5 years total experience as an engineer in a web environment doing development with Java/JEE.

Ø      Expert Java 5 or later knowledge.

Ø      Expert knowledge of Spring Dependency Injection and other core Spring features.

Ø      Strong communications skills.

Ø      Strong experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning.

Ø      Strong SQL, Data Modeling and DB skills (DB2).

Ø      Experienced with WebLogic 9 or above (or similar Application server) management and configuration.

Ø      Service Oriented Architecture experience and strong web service integration skills

Ø      Experience designing and implementing with Hibernate or another ORM / EJB3 JPA provider.

Ø      Experience designing and implementing with Struts or other MVC framework

Ø      Experience designing and implementing with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like YUI, JQuery

Ø      Experience designing and implementing with FLEX

Ø      Experience with UML modeling and effectively communication for design reviews.

Ø      Background developing on a Unix/Linux platform.

Ø      Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client-services, environment.

Ø      Successful history of web projects delivered.

Ø      Ability to clearly write technical specifications.
