Nope, nope, and nope. Member is on AOL. Here is the EXACT message the member
just posted that was snagged as spam (sans the quoted message they were
responding to): nice work seena , thank you for sharing this Just can't see
what gmail could be upset about to snag this as spam! This is just driving me
nuts! - Sat, Sep 19 2009 6:02 pm

Oops. Unsubscribed before deleting group - 2 new
------------------------------------------------
I unsubscribed to a group I owned before considering just deleting the group.
Now I can't figure out what to do. A request to rejoin the group doesn't ever
get to my gmail account, and I can't find anything close in the forums. Anyone
have any ideas? -laurie - Sun, Sep 20 2009 4:43 pm

Manager of group died, we don't have his password - 1 new
---------------------------------------------------------
Abigail, I just posted a message to this group a few minutes ago, and am now
going through messages to see how much help people get from this forum. It
looks like the answer is, "Not much." You may want to consider using Meetup.
It's not free, but it seems to mostly work and the cost is fairly low (I think
it's about $12/month). I know that - Sun, Sep 20 2009 5:02 pm

I lost my group ownership - 1 new

Something similar happened to me, and I just posted a few minutes ago, hoping
for some assistance. Since then, I've been reading through the group, and am
quite surprised that so many requests for help seem to get no response. :-( -

accepted invitation, lost ownership - 1 new

I'm really sad to see so many people who are having these similar issues, and
there is no one who seems to be able to help. Maybe this isn't the correct (or
best) discussion group to be posting to??? -laurie - Sun, Sep 20 2009 5:11 pm

Group has no owners. Need to delete group. - 2 new
--------------------------------------------------
Aldo, I'm fairly new to this group, which I joined because I, too, have "lost
control" of a group that I was the owner of by unsubscribing before thinking
about deleting the group. I've been reading messages in the group now for
about 20 minutes or so, and am surprised to find so many people with similar
issues who seem to be getting no help. - Sun, Sep 20 2009 5:17 pm

DELETING MY GROUP - 2 new
-------------------------
We no longer are using our Google group site and wish to delete it. But i'm no
longer recognized by Google as the Manager -- for reasons I don't understand. (
Perhaps I changed my email address to Gmail after I set up the site using my
previous address.) Anyway who do I contact/what do I do to delete our group? -
