GIS Project Manager

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 12 months +

Rate: Open

 

Project Manager. Oversees & contributes to development of deliverables on one or more projects, develops detailed work breakdown structures, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and budgets; and is responsible for determining and working with supervision to acquire resource needs. Oversees & contributes to development of project documentation, such as application specifications (requirements), system configuration, RFP’s. Candidate will also schedule and facilitate internal and customer meetings that contribute toward the completion of projects. Serves as a liaison between team members and functional area/department requesting project. Candidates with experience implementing or working with the Azteca CityWorks application and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the fields of utility/facilities asset and infrastructure management preferred. Work schedule may vary between 30 - 40 hours per week depending on project scheduling.

Environment: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Azteca CityWorks (Desktop or Server), CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office Suite.
