CLIENT NEEDS ASAP System Administrator / Location: Milwaukee, WI

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 3 Months.

Rate: Open.

 

Responsibilities / Basic Function:

Support Windows Server environment

 

·         Evaluate, install, configure, support and troubleshoot the hardware, operating system, system software and network connections of Windows Servers (2003 and 2008) running on both physical servers and VMWare virtual machines.

·         Work with team members to solve technology problems and rollout solutions to clients.

·         Fulfill project requests as defined in TDP

Skills / Qualifications:

 

·         Demonstrate knowledge and skills in Windows Servers 2003 and 2008 support including hardware/software installation, troubleshooting and networking support.

·         Experience with performance monitoring, security, and scripting (VB Script preferred)

·         Desired experience with server virtualization utilizing VMWare products

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Small project planning, change management and documentation skills

·         Technical problem management skills

Knowledge and Experience Desired:

 

·         Development or scripting knowledge preferred.

·         Linux a plus

·         ITIL experience a plus

·         Ability to manage groups of server changes and server builds
