Essential Job Functions: Create and/or modify customized applications to enhance website capability based on business needs. Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, peer reviews, test cases and technical documentation. Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Assist in preparing time estimates for assigned tasks. Must work independently, or as part of a team, with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred 4+ years of web authoring development experience using Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, HTML 4+ years Oracle 10g experience Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Optional Skills : Knowledge of Object Relational Mapping using Cayenne, JPA Experience developing N-tier enterprise level web applications in Java using an MVC framework.
