Hello, Client: The Coca Cola Company Location: Atlanta, Ga Duration: 12 Months Rate: Open Short Description: Analyze business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information need, business processes) by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements Complete Description: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for consulting with the business to understand the business goals and objectives for a large-scale 12 months / multiple geographies compensation project and is also expected to participate on multiple smaller projects concurrently. The Senior BA acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify and translate country specific business requirements into functional requirements documentation, process models, and data models (using appropriate tools) from which applications and solutions are designed and developed. The Senior BA is also responsible for defining (and/or redefining) business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes. The Senior Business Analyst is an active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented and met. Required Experience: . Experience with at least two global implementations of SAP ECM module. . Experience with at least two global implementations of the core SAP HR modules. . Experience configuring multiple modules within the SAP HR system. . Significant experience leading the BA activities for multiple SAP HR projects. . 8+ years of SAP HR experience (4.7 - ECC6) . Experience implementing and configuring ESS or MSS preferred . Experience implementing and configuring Performance Management preferred Work Activities: . Analyze business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information need, business processes) by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs. . Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. . Develop logical data model based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components (e.g., Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Models). . Design business transactions based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. . Develop testing, implementation, data conversion or application support strategies in order to establish directions and develop application. . Develop application specific standards and procedures, such as how errors will be handled in the application, in order to complete detailed design. . Provide consultation and assistance to internal business clients for the creation of client business plans. . Develop high-level project descriptions based on business requirements in order to provide information for technology service provider review (e.g., application development and infrastructure service providers). . Coordinate the analysis of proposed projects (high-level project descriptions) with technology service providers (e.g., application development or infrastructure service providers) in order to determine resource requirements (people, hardware, software) and to provide consistent communication during the planning process. . Validate with client senior management identified business system or information infrastructure directions in order to prioritize high level project descriptions. . Identify and integrate cross-function projects (e.g., decision support, web development, SAP) in order to achieve synergy and expose commonality. . Gather or analyze business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions, (e.g., audience analysis, needs analysis, delta analysis, validation sessions) analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to prepare the education & training strategy. . Create and refine education & training strategy (including content, delivery method, training exercises, registration process) in order to design the training solution. . Prepare instructors to deliver end-user training via train-the-trainer and instructor practice sessions. . Provide consulting or lead the transfer of knowledge of instructional design, training development, educational standards or tools to the implementation team or business unit. . Deliver or support training delivery to prepare the end-users to use the new solution. Functional Skills: . Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling procedures and the ability to identify and clearly define the entities (e.g., persons, places, things, concepts and events) and associations between them about which the business must keep data. . Data and Information Standards Integration: Knowledge of and ability to apply TCCC data and information standards in TCCC global applications. Includes the ability to identify the need for additional standards to meet business requirement for integrated information across the Company. . IT Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry. Includes knowledge of the key vendors, their strategic and tactical plans, and internal/external advisory services. . Process Modeling: Knowledge of process modeling procedures and the ability to decompose business processes by taking into account software and system capabilities and to ensure reuse, integration, maintainability and efficiency. . Technology to Business/Business to Technology: Ability to translate technical information for a business audience and business information for a technical audience. . Technology Research and Application to Business Problems: Knowledge of IT research methods and procedures. Includes the knowledge of technical trends and the ability to apply technologies to address business needs. . SAP HR Solution Configuration: Ability to provide advice and develop a detailed design and customized configuration to support new business processes and procedures.
