Job Description:
In this role, the Engineers will be porting applications to a new .net compact framework platform. This is not web or client/server development, but mobile software development. Our client has several products that need improvement with apps memory storage and speed of transfer. Our client has a suite of mobile units where data gathered remotely is transmitted via wireless back to the corporate headquarters via mobile radio units. The mobile units are what you will be working on.
Required Experience:
Embedded Systems Development for target platforms.
WinCE and C# experience.
Experience porting java, c, and c++ apps to a C#/.net compact framework platform for small products.
Candidate must provide his/her own laptop with anti-virus software. The laptop should be equipped with Windows XP. The software that must be on this laptop for this project is MS Office and Visual Studio.
Prefer candidates to have experience with mapping software or video on small screens.
