I might be thick too, but I have spent literally hundreds of hours trying to
figure out this stupid hurdle. I run two groups - with one, Flycape, which was
set up before the other, Safrea, I have no problems. I invite members, they
receive their invites and respond to them, post, receive emails, no problems.

Gotcha! Gigi mimics the email interface that Y! Groups has. The normal email
address for a group is: groupname[AT]googlegroups.com. But if you add certain,
special suffixes to the group name and send email to those special addresses,

I have a few members who no matter what they do...they cannot verify their e-
mail...so they cannot post or receive messages...I am unable to manually
override this setting as well...what is wrong...it is very frustrating... Bob -

i have changed the problematic group name from "imputerates" [plural] to "
imputerate" [singular], so that now the name, url, email are all the same;
