Job Title: AutoSys Production Support Analyst

Location:  Livingston, NJ

Duration:  3+ Months

Rate:  $Open

 

Job Description:
Support production batch processing environment of AutoSys 4.5 job scheduling integration with AutoSys Adapter for SAP. Troubleshoot errors in schedules and recognize redundant processes or tasks and look for ways to automate. Perform scheduling changes as requested. Support multiple customers and possess strong internal and external customer service skills. Perform problem determination and resolutions - (Root Cause analysis). Perform application scheduling tests to ensure maximum efficiency prior to production promotion. Working knowledge of AutoSys JAWS, WCC and R11 is a plus but not required.
Must be able to effectively communicate technical information and solutions to a non-technical audience. Ability to work 3/4 day work week and weekends as required.

 

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of data processing experience on Open Systems UNIX and Intel Platforms.
• Strong PC Skills, Strong NT and Unix Operating Systems Skills, Scripting skills a plus (UNIX Shell, Pearl), Unicenter AutoSys Scheduler system
• Ablity to work independently and as a team player, Self-starter, Strong customer skills, customer focused.
• Strong problem determination/resolution skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast paced environment.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

• Analyze business production requirements, develop and implement solutions
• Monitor batch processing taking corrective action as needed
• Process Production changes via authorized change process
• Perform scheduling modifications as required
• Heavy problem solving and resolution
• Document changes and problems via Change and Problem Management
• Heavy programmer/customer interaction
