This is contract position 

The Hourly rate is DOE  

US Citizen or Green Card Holder or EAD only.  

Client will interview over the phone and hire the consultant, located anywhere in the country!

 

This is a mid-level position.

Minimum 2 years of Java/J2EE development experience

Must have experience with the v1.4.2 JDK as well as v1.5

Proven experience with Java technologies: Servlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, and JDBC.

Proven experience with application servers including: WebSphere, JBoss, and Weblogic

Proven experience with web containers including: Tomcat

Knowledge of the Eclipse framework for development

Working Knowledge of open source, 3rd party utilities such as Jakarta commons, Spring Framework, Hibernate

Proven experience in development of web services using SOAP, WSDL, and XML

Knowledge of J-Unit testing, Ant and Maven build structures

Knowledge and experience in applying Gang of Four and Enterprise Application Architecture design patterns

SQL Experience

Source Control Experience using CVS or SVN

Excellent oral and written communication

Great Attitude and willingness to work as a member of a team

 

Preferred:

Familiar with automated test tools such as J-Meter

Familiar with Use Case development and formal QA processes

UML Experience

Experience in performance tuning and optimization

DB2 Experience

JMX Experience a plus
