Roles & Responsibilities
5/7 Years experience. Proficient in C, C++, TCP/IP, Linux, UPnP, Streaming Audio/Video; A/V codecs Project Description: Prototyping reference implementation for UPnP AV version 4.0 specification. UPnP AV 4.0 adds various new features (e.g. content monikers, user identification, clock synchronization, renderer side transforms, etc) to past UPnP AV specifications. The CW will be responsible for reviewing specifications, writing an architecture document, implementing the software, and participating in testing/interop events. Daily Responsibilities: . Reviewing specifications . Writing an architecture document . Implementing the software . Participating in testing/interop events Necessary Skills (Must Have): . C and C++ Programming . Linux . TCP/IP Networking, UPnP . Streaming audio/video; Codecs . Windows (working knowledge) Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): . DLNA . Java / C# . Software validation
