Quality Assurance Analyst (SOA Test Engineer)

Responsibilities:

·         This position is specific to SOA Test Engineer skills.  The purpose of this position is to execute SOA functional testing of our backend services utilizing ITKO.

·         Elicit & understand SOA requirements

·         Understand SOA Reference Architecture

·         Test planning, design, automation and execution of SOA test cases

·         Results analysis.  Root cause determination

·         Work closely with leads and analysts from test team to manage testing effort, log issues, request and maintain test data.

·         Report and track defects in Quality Center, and test fixes

·         Be able to quickly troubleshoot issues with automated test tool and be familiar with how to configure it.

Basic Requirements:

·         7+ years of IT experience with strong background in development and testing

·         2+ years of in demonstrated leadership capacity

·         Strong experience in SOA including WSDL, XML, and / or SOAP messaging

·         Must have experience testing MMQ or MQ Series messaging

·         Must have extensively used tools like XMLSpy or SOA Test

·         Demonstrated ability to analyze business and technical specifications and design test cases

·         Good understanding of web based service-level interaction, able to debug/trace low level HTTP(s) data interchange

·         Experience / understanding of builds, configuration, environment setup

Core Technology Expertise:

·         Architecture: SOA, J2EE / .Net, WMB or equivalent ESB type product

·         XML, XML Schema, XSLT

·         Basic Web Services Specifications: SOAP, WSDL, UDDI

·         Advanced experience with at least one SOA Testing tool like Soap UI, Parasoft SOA Test, iTKO LISA, HP Service Test, etc.

·         Working knowledge on test management tools like Quality center in SOA projects
