Enterprise Test Lead

 

Richmond, VA; North Haven, CT

The role has some Test Architect components, but I expect the role to be more of an Enterprise Test Lead. The start date is 10/5 through 6/2010. Right now I have the location as Richmond VA, but open to anywhere on Eastern/Central Standard Time. My guidance here is that I can use someone who is a test lead, but with a bunch of experience with complex, multi-application based test leadership (direct/coordinate multiple application test leads) AND WITH SENIOR LEVEL PROGRAM/STAKEHOLDER EXPERIENCE. Of course an architect type will work a well.

Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty.
Level 1 - 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Level 2 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Level 3 -6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practiews, and procedures. Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required. Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required.
