Business Objects Administrator

 

Location – Houston, TX

This is for IB Risk Technology in their plan/build/operate/control space.  They handle risk reporting. 

 

They need a Business Objects Administrator with strong unix background and shell scripting.  Environment includes Apache, Tomcat and Weblogic app servers, Solaris OS.  This is a level 2 support role so person needs to have very good comm skills.  They are rolling out BO R3 1st quarter 2010 so candidates with R3 will have the scale tipped in their favor.  They use WebI for reporting purposes.  It says Java is needed but they don't need to code--it is more in the context that the reports are triggered by Java code so person will need to check the code.  Bus Objects development in past is a plus.  Need to have the system monitoring experience as well.
