I deleted a gmail account without realizing it would affect a Google Group
account it was linked to. Deleting my gmail account removed the Google Group
account that was associated with the following group and in the process left

My group is moderated - only members can post, and all messages must be
approved. Yesterday afternoon, one of the group's members received an e-mail
from the group, but I did not receive the request to approve the message until
this morning - and when I went to look at it, I found that the message had

Yes I've read the faqs but here's the thing: I have four training classes a
year. I use a google group that consists of different people each class, and I
don't want the current class trainees to read stuff from previous classes
because it usually doesn't pertain to them. I have not found a way to delete

Great. But I had read HelpCenter before I posted my question. HelpCenter's
information does not answer it. Anyway, thank you for your try. I think now,
it's impossible and one who want to perform such thing should create new group
and invite all members of old group to new. The one should close/erase old
