SAP AP/AR Configuration Analyst

Position Description	SAP AP/AR Configuration Analyst
Responsibilities	Liaison with the development and business teams to discuss, design and configure robust/efficient solutions Evaluate and analyze functional specifications submitted by functional teams Create, execute and document configurations based on the functional specifications Test and support of complex configuration solutions to meet requirements Document every step according to the client’s project adopted standards Build configurations in FI modules Accounts Payable "AP" and Accounts Receivable "AR" according to  client’s business requirements Experience in Payment Method Configuration, Dunning, AP/AR Master Data and Open Item Processing Assist in completing Unit Tests of Configuration and RICEF, including workflows  Assist in Performing BPP’s on transactions and RICEF’s Assist in fully, clearly and accurately documenting new configurations and process for client Assist in gap analysis between  client’s requirement and SAP functionality, review and adopt new functionality in SAP Review  client’s process requirements and suggest further enhancements and improvements where possible Identify needs for application configuration, specify requirements and review data requirements with Development team Develop interface designs to the identified legacy systems and applications Receive and resolve configuration defects and/or change requests Work with other teams to ensure an integrated end-to-end solution is delivered Report delays and risks to team leads Assist in developing and updating detailed team project plan Adhere to ERP PMO project standards
Qualifications	At least 5 years experience as an SAP Techno-Functional analyst/configuration analyst with at least one full lifecycle (end-to-end) SAP implementation. ( AP/AR Specifically) Solid SAP configuration experience in both ECC and Netweaver platforms Implementation experience in SAP version ECC 6.0 Solid Financial Process (AP/AR) Background K-12 experience Additional skills in other SAP modules a plus SAP development experience a plus (User Exits, Workflows, etc.) Detailed knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and tools; SAP Solution Manager, ASAP, IMG, Business Navigator is desirable Experience in the Public Sector is strongly desirable Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to write detail technical specifications Ability to debug and find out the root cause for exceptions Must be able to participate in a team environment and communicate effectively Ability to communicate in oral and written form effectively Ability to effectively communicate functional and technical expertise to a variety of business and technical partners
