Currently working for Transmontaigne, a refined petroleum products marketing, distribution and supply chain Management Company. In addition Transmontaigne is also a products terminaling and pipeline company for gasoline, distillates, heating oil, asphalt and crude oil.
1) Project: Maintenance & Enhancements of Energy Services System
Energy service encompasses activity that fulfills the commercial/industrial fuel needs of customers. The department activities are broadly classified into Bulk, Retail, Truck stops. Bulk deals with customers that need heavy quantity of fuel supply regularly. Retail deals with supplying fuel to the gas stations. Truck stop involves supplying fuel less than truckload to interstate truck stops where the consumption is recorded by Comdata (secured card reader company) and sent to TMG on daily basis. TMG also maintains tank level for customers thru Veeder Root devices and provides forecasting.
Role: Senior System's Programmer & Analyst
· Fixing highly critical bugs in RPG programs, screens and reports. Maintain AS/400 stored procedures that communicate with TMG web portals.
· Involved in analysis of system, interface between application modules and preparation of knowledge transfer document for resources in
· Perform unit testing, environment testing & create test cases. Interact with Business Analysts to discuss functional requirements and use cases.
· Actively participate in code reviews, tech review and walk-through, status meeting with project managers, QA team.
· Tracking system defects and bugs in the application using Bugzilla.
