Position : Front End Java Developer

Location : Bay Area, CA

Duration : 3-6 months / CTH

This is an immediate need. I need someone who is a senior and strong consultant (maybe an architect level consultant) in the following skill sets. I am looking for at least 9+ to 10 years of experience. Send me 'Local" consultants only.

Please read through the job description, but the client is looking for someone with very strong front end java skills with JSP, Servlets, Apache, Tomcat, web services. So concentrate more on these skill sets.

In this role:

You will be developing applications (SDLC), performance/tuning and new feature development. Major focus of work will be on the enhancement (design and implementation) of an existing bulk-price management application.

9-10+ years of Software Development Experience (Front End & Middle Tier) with Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts & JDBC

Experience working with SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Familiar with source control systems - CVS or Subversion

Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

Nice to have:

Experience working Imaging Process is a plus

MS/BS in CS
