Transporters

This edition's DIY engagement game

Transporters!

Type: Group
Items required: Exercise Balls, Stopwatch

How to play:  Transporters is a high energy game for teams of more than 10 people. 3 large exercise balls are allotted to each team. The teams have to  transport one member of the team on the exercise balls from one end of a 30 ft track to another. The person who is being transported cannot, at any point of time, put feet/hands or any part of his/her body on the floor for support. Two teams have a go against each other at the same time. The team that is able to transport their team member across the track in the quickest time wins!

The game ensures the teams display strategy, team work and some lateral thinking to get their team member transported successfully!

It appears that the worst is behind us. Reports of better times ahead are slowly beginning to trickle in, much to the relief of businesses around the world. Companies have used the tough times to re-examine priorities, restructure, refocus, renegotiate... resulting in changes that are often viewed with suspicion. What are the new rules of the game? What should companies and employees be doing to sustain the new mantras of business? What has the recession taught us - about customers and employees?

This month we have an interesting analysis on one of our favourite topics - optimising employee engagement to improve performance. Our Press Room section has an article about employee engagement going online, with Thinkers for Life. Take a look at our challenging Thinkers for Life offerings. And continuing with the online theme, we have a case study of a customer that used our online offerings to engage their employees. As the running season in the country peaks, check out an unusual trail run, the Bangalore Ultra. All this and lots more in this issue.

Choose from The Fuller Life's expansive list of activities to keep your employees at their smiling, uplifted and productive best!
