We have an opening for a QA Engineer with Salesforce.com experience for a six month+ contract. You will work closely with the QA team and run tests on proprietary applications as they are integrated with existing Salesforce.com applications.
What you'll be doing:
- Debugging software products through the use of systematic tests (manual and automated) to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. - Developing, modifying, and executing software test plans and test cases.
- Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Consulting with development engineers in resolution of problems.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years experience of web-based software testing, preferably with Java web applications and Oracle databases
- Direct experience testing the Salesforce.com application
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Automation, including Selenium or Fitnesse, is a huge plus

PeopleSoft technical resources sought to assist in development of reports as part of the University's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Implementation. Preferred candidate will have worked with Campus Solutions and have exposure to PeopleSoft Version 9 with Tools 8.49.
Demonstrated expertise in Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Change Assistant, DataMover, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler preferred. Experience and knowledge of service oriented architecture also desirable. Familiarity with XML Publisher and Crystal Reports also useful.

The candidate must have a very strong technical background and ability to work on highly complex software systems. Particular emphasis is placed on experience with programming for real time systems, and their interfacing to (UNIX) operating systems. The candidate must have strong programming skills in C++ for distributed (and shared memory) applications, experience in C++ template programming, and in working in multi-threaded server-side environments. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented design principals. The candidate must have a strong background with development of distributed databases; specifically dealing with high availability and fault tolerance/recovery issues. Knowledge of Java is desirable along with knowledge of computer networking with emphasis on mobile networks and SS7. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and must have very good communication skills. Minimum of 5 years experience.
