Approximately 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis and or application program development

The Systems Analyst Specialist determines client area application System Requirements and Processes for new or modified application programs in support of a global account management tool. The professional coordinates and defines system scope objectives through research and fact finding for development and or modifications to diversified information systems. This individual must be competent to work in all phases of systems analysis activities. The role requires a broad knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle and interfaces effectively with Technical Managers in a Global IT organization

 

·                     Consult with internal customer management regarding the identification, specification and impact of complex system requirements and processes, validation of business rules.

·                     Use knowledge of data modeling and data flow diagrams to determine client area application system requirements for  new or modified application programs

·                     Participate in the development and review of documents to comply with the System Development Life Cycle methodologies (e.g. Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Requirements Specifications, Cost Benefit Analysis....)

·                     Perform detailed requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, concise and verifiable

·                     Translate the business requirements into functional specifications to support the build and testing phases in the System Development Life Cycle

·                     Prepare Testing plans and coordinate efforts with Quality Assurance and Performance Teams

·                     Performs application design

·                     Ensure that all critical issues are communicated to the Project Manager for resolution in a timely manner

·                     Conduct, monitor and validate that knowledge transfer to appropriate staff occurs continuously throughout the project

·                     Monitor adherence to quality assurance procedures and completion of user acceptance testing, and recommend actions to the Project Manager or designee, for resolution    

·                     Excellent interpersonal, communications and project management skills

·                     Sound judgment and tact

·                     Ability to lead/conduct/facilitate requirement gathering sessions

 

Other Comments (include travel requirements, if any):

Extensive experience with state of the art application development support software packages

Experience working with diverse platforms/operating system environments and knowledge of associated integration issues.
