Title: Software Project Manager (Resumes 3 pages max)

Client Domain: Medical Device Manufacturer

Location: Northridge, CA

Duration: 6 months contract

 

Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all project related activities for the software component they are responsible for. This position will report to the project leadership.

 

Responsibilities include:

Track status and schedule Manage requirements Manage design, code construction, unit test, code review, and integration efforts Coordinate documentation efforts Provide resources for developers to be successful Track and mitigate risk Track subcontractor development activities Manage defects Represent the software group to external groups Work with project leadership and development leads to refine project strategy to ensure project completes on time with high quality.

 

Should have following skills and experience:

Directly managing embedded software project and/or Windows CE project of at least medium complexity.

Significant design and coding experience in embedded C, C++, C#

Medical device product development experience is a plus

Proficient with MS Project Experience with DOORS, defect tracking databases, version control systems
