Job Description

 

Project support for development, testing, and implementation of a web/oracle  based supply chain IT solution for order fulfillment transactions, to replace an existing tool (called Factory Order Database-FODB).  Responsibilities include working with the Project Manager, other developers, and business users, to develop, test and implement the new solution by Dec/01/09.  Work with DBAs and developers in the US and Asia, to ensure that the UI and oracle application work meet the design specifications of the solution.  Create, execute and manage test cases, all phases of testing (unit, integration, UAT) through deployment.  Resolve technical and functional issues that may arise during the course of the development of the solution and stabilize the application after implementation.

 

Required Skills:

 

• 3-5 years of technical experience with integration of various systems in a development project as a developer resource.
• Development experience involving Informatica, BRIO, VBA, Scripting (shell & PERL), PL/SQL, Websphere/Weblogic, DB2, Oracle, XML.
• Ability to work across geographies and cultures and develop and maintain team synergy.
• Knowledge and experience using Java, MQ Series, UML, OOD/OOP, Alphablox, Essbase, SAP, and MS Access are a plus.
• Experience with i2 applications is a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience is desired.
