Ø      Working knowledge of ITIL Service Management principals

Ø      Experience opening PMR and trouble tickets to IBM.

 

Technical Skills

Ø      In-depth knowledge of WebSphere MQ 6.x on distributed platforms(UNIX and Windows)

Ø      Understanding and working experience using Advanced MQ Clustering

Ø      Ability to automate WebSphere MQ installations on Windows

Ø      Experience doing MQ upgrades on Windows

Ø      MQ Client

Ø      Good MSMQ knowledge

Ø      Windows command line/batch scripting

Ø      Visual Basic Scripting experience

Ø      Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems(Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP)

Ø      Good knowledge of AIX, Linux and HP UNIX operating systems

Ø      General understanding of how WebSphere MQ interconnects to other operating systems (zOS/Unix/AIX/Windows)

Ø      Experience troubleshooting with trace files, MQ logs, and JMS logs.

Ø      IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V6.0
