Position Description
SAP Benefits Consultant/Configurer in Public Sector

Responsibilities

Assist in gap analysis between requirements and SAP functionality,
review and adopt new functionality in SAP=20
Review process requirements and suggest further enhancements and
improvements where possible=20
Configure SAP system settings according to business requirements and
document all configuration=20
Execute and develop Unit, Functional, Integration and Parallel Testing
scripts=20
Define User Authorization profiles and security roles=20
Identify needs for systems development, specify requirements and review
data requirements with Development team=20
Write functional specifications for development objects=20
Write and/or assist in development of BPPs and other training material=20
Coordinate interface testing with existing legacy systems and third
party vendors=20
Assist in the preparation and validation of end user training and
documentation=20
Report delays and risks to team leads=20
Assist in identifying data to be cleansed=20
Adhere to ERP PMO project standards=20
Manage design and/or revise relevant policies and procedures=20
Build solutions in SAP Benefits according to business requirements=20

Qualifications

SAP version ECC 6 implementation experience=20
Minimum of four years SAP HR/Benefits configuration experience=20
Experience with SAP Concurrent Employment required=20
Experience with K-12 or other Public Sector required=20
Ability to design and configure CE Benefits Workbench=20
Strong Experience with integration of SAP Benefits to SAP Payroll=20
Understanding of Benefits related Payroll schema/rules=20
Experience in working with Employee Self Service as it relates to
Benefits=20
Experience with implementing SAP COBRA functionality=20
Functional experience with Benefits User Exits=20
Experience with the design and reporting of public sector retirement
plans=20
Ability and experience with writing detailed functional and technical
specifications=20
ABAP skills a plus=20
Additional skills in other SAP Modules a plus=20
Must be able to participate in a team environment=20
