WebSphere Portal Developer

 

Richmond VA

 

Pay Rate: $45/hr C2C

 

Length: Long Term

 

The WebSphere Portal Analyst will be responsible for the creation of the Requirements Analysis Documents (RADs), the Detail System Design (DSD) as well as ensuring the developers have the information needed to complete the project.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ø      3 – 5+ years previous experience leading the implementation of web portal development projects.

Ø      Experience/familiarity with web portal security

Ø      Extensive experience integrating portal applications with COTS and proprietary applications

Ø      Experience in the creation of RADs and DSDs

Ø      Excellent customer facing skills

Ø      Knowledge of the full development lifecycle, testing large-scale development projects

Ø      Experience in a data processing development/operation environment

Ø      Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team

Ø      Must have an excellent ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical staff and clients

Ø      Strong deadline and task management skills

Ø      Sound discretionary judgment skills

Ø      Experience working in a structured project management environment

Ø      Experience with an object-oriented design project

Ø      Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL)

Ø      Strong analysis skills
