Job Title: QA Tester

Location: Washington DC

Duration: 12+ Months

Rate: $30/Hr

Required Skills:

�       Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of work experience as a Software tester.

�       Must be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal/written), organizational skills, and the ability to work with a variety of people & teams

�       Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to move easily between various tasks.

�       Must possess strong attention to detail.
�       Knowledge of the SDLC testing methodology.
�       Familiarity with current software testing methodologies, (functional, performance, regression, integration)
�       Experience writing requirements and requirements solicitation a plus.
�       Experience reviewing and analyzing requirements for testability.
�       Ability to project task completion hours and meet strict client enforced deadlines.
�       Experience creating test plans, test cases, manual test procedures from requirements, and test reports, as well as conduct peer review of the same.

�       Ability to create, maintain, update and execute automated test scripts a plus.
�       Experience conducting manual 508 Compliance testing (Html, Flash, PDF, Office documents).
�       Ability to properly document and track defects.
�       Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Access, Excel, Word, Project, etc.).
�       Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional.
�       Experience with Back-End Testing using Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle.
�       Experience with Automated Test tools (Mercury Loadrunner and Quick test Pro) a plus.
�       Familiarity with JAWs screen reading software.
�       Experience and/or desire to serve as Quality Center Administrator or Worldspace Administrator.
