What I am really looking for is a Silverlight developer with a FOCUS on Silverlight as a subject matter expert of sorts. I am not interested in those candidates who have only incidental experience with the tool. I need a great .NET developer background with maybe two years of serious work in Silverlight 2.0/3.0.

 

• Senior .NET/C# developers, Win Forms, WCF, WPF, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Demonstrated experience with custom controls, optimization and strong business logic skills. Specific experience with current Silverlight and .NET frameworks is required. SQL Server 2005/2008 and scripting would be very useful. The organization will be using the Agile methodology. SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WITH SILVERLIGHT UI AND DEMONSTRATED CREATIVITY is of great importance.

 

• Objective and Scope of Project:   The consultant will participate in the on-going development work of a Senior Web Developer. Working with a team of full-time and contract development staff performing Silverlight / .Net development with in the customer Web Technology organization on the Active Trader Browser Tools Project.  Consultant will be a senior developer on the Silverlight Application side of a team which includes UI and server-side developers.

 

• Responsibilities and Skills:  Develop rich internet applications utilizing Silverlight / .Net technologies and related languages C#, XML etc. (and other necessary tools in a UI development environment) as part of a team working on applications in this space. The development of applications and web sites are to meet customer development requirements for look and feel. Consultant will identify and overcome obstacles in project process and technical execution. Implementing departmental policies and processes for all types of development work (unit test discipline, participates in code reviews etc)

 

• Deliverables and Responsibilities:   The consultant is expected to complete various programming and analytical tasks for the Active Trader Browser Tools Project. Expectations are to be met with in the time frames that are allocated for each specific task and delineated within the corresponding project plan.
