Java Swing Software Engineer

Looking for a talented and highly motivated Java Developer with strong Swing experience

Java Swing Software Engineering - Must have 5-6 years of experience with designing, developing and testing Java Swing based User Interfaces (UI). Candidates must be experienced with XML, both the reading and writing of XML documents using the JDOM framework. Experience with the JIDE (www.jidesoft.com) UI framework is a plus.

You will be working on designing and developing components for Development Studio, which is a Swing based application. The Development Studio is a visual drag-n-drop GUI for designing workflows for operations process automation.

 

Job Specifications:

Ø      B.S/M.S in Computer Science or equivalent degree

Ø      8+ years experience in Java application development

Ø      6+ years experience with Java Swing

Ø      Experience in UI usability design and analysis

Ø      Experience with Windows, Linux, and Solaris platforms

Ø      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ø      Experience in third party Swing components and Apache libraries

Ø      Experience in OSS area is a plus

Ø      WEB experience a super big plus
