Job Description: Core responsibilities of this position include producing project scope documents, detailed functional specifications, performing complex data analysis, data mapping, defining test scripts, delivering other project documentation; participating in meetings, building effective relationships with the business and technology build team; managing to deadlines and project deliverables. 

Role Specific Responsibilities 
·         Serve as liaison between the Technology build team and Private Bank business users
·         Assist the business in identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements
·         Own the documentation of detailed functional specifications, working with the business to analyze their business requirements and in return, providing technical expertise and producing functional design for any application additions, changes and modifications
·         Assisting the business in evaluating priorities, advising business partners on options, risks, and costs versus benefits of various solutions
·         Track and manage issue, risks, action items and plan deliverable responsibilities for all PB related MIS Unification technology projects
·         Identify and communicate risks to producing various deliverables and solutions on time
·         Identify and ensure resolution of control gaps including eventual elimination of user-defined access databases
·         Perform extensive data analysis, including loading data in tables and access databases and writing SQL to analyze the data as well as interpret the data and format and present findings back to the Finance users (CFO teams)
·         Understand the context in which data is used within the business and match business requirements to the sources of data within systems
·         Develop use cases to explain / de monstrate business requirements / specifications to IT team
·         Document test strategies ensuring that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test scripts, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed
·         Develop and execute system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations
·         Work with other analyst and the technology, build-development team to design solutions for clients
·         Define data quality plans to address data quality issues; work with business partners to build business understanding of data issues
·         Help analyze impact of proposed solution across private bank shared services technology
·         Provide input to the development of formal business cases Position Requirements 
·         Bachelor's degree in business related discipline or equivalent work/training preferred
·         5+ years in Business Analysis, especially on related IT initiatives in the Financial Service Industry
·         Experience with large, complex technology projects
·         Detailed knowledge of the project lifecycle and SDLC and related deliverables
·         Expertise in business analysis, analytical and problem solving skills
·         Experience in Finance related technology projects, including Financial MIS reporting (customer and project profitability) and transaction based Flows reporting (inflows and outflows of cash and securities), particularly in the Financial Service industry
·         Experience in Private Bank and Private Bank Financial products, services and processing systems
·         Specific data analysis background required, including ability to write SQL and interpret and present results of investigations.
·         Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
·         Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
·         Strong verbal and writing skills
·         Work under minimum direction and use independent judgment in decision-making
·         Preferred technology skills include any prior experience with Sequel, SQL Server, Sybase, Informatica, Business Objects, and Essbase

Project Manager Job Description
Core responsibilities include project management for Private Banking Technology projects at JPMC, adherence to the defined SDLC processes, project and people management, project tracking, issue and risk management, status reporting, end-to-end plan management responsibilities as well as ownership of all plan-related technology deliverables include the project plan, functional design, test plans/scripts, testing and implementation.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
· Technology Plan Management and oversight of all related SDLC deliverables (Project Plan, FSD, Test Strategy, Plan, Scripts)
· Understand business requirements and translate them into Functional design
· Partner with Technology build team as they translate functional into technical design
· Manage the team of business analysts who own the documentation of detailed functional specifications, working with the business to analyze their business requirements and in return, providing technical expertise and producing functional design for any application additions, changes and modifications
· Own Issue, Risk, Action item and Plan management for several Credit Technology projects
· Manage the relationship with Finance (CFO) based client teams in PB as well as the Technology Build team; assist the business in identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements and in preparing for and executing testing
· Identify and ensure resolution of control gaps including eventual elimination of user-defined databases

Position Requirements:
· 4 year accredited college degree / advanced degree in business related discipline
· 10+ years of IT work experience and 6+ years of Project Management Experience
· Detailed knowledge of the project lifecycle and SDLC
· Experience with large, complex projects
· Previous experience in leading and managing both through execution capabilities and influence
· Experience in Finance related technology projects, including Financial MIS reporting (customer and project profitability) and transaction based Flows reporting (inflows and outflows of cash and securities), particularly in the Financial Service industry
· Experience in Private Bank and Private Bank Financial products, services and processing systems
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
· Strong relationship management skills
· Work under minimum direction, ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
