How do I make a backup/export of my group? - 1 new

not have backup or export features. This is unfortunate but a common problem

I created a group (say ABC) for friends in my youth hood. As soon as I created,
I realized that I wanted to use another e-mail address, which includes my
maiden name, so that my friends could recognize me. So I cancelled/deleted
this ABC group immediately and then I logged in with the other e-mail address (

Google group members-only posting receives spam from non-existing memebers!
What could be wrong? Under management, the emailaddress is not shown, still I
receive one-time only spam from those non-existing members. Could it be that
they create account, post spam message and finally remove account again? All

Trouble Finding Group - 2 new

Hello I cannot seem to find the Group ('tewsgallo'). I am a member and the
owner and have a google account. Other members cannot find it either. Is there
a setting I can change? One of the help pages suggested that a group could
have been removed from the index. If that is the case here, how do I add it

Recreating - 1 new

We tried to recreate our google group. The cause was: we were unable to change
primary language of a group. Correct language "English" was properly displayed
in a settings tab but all content has been still displayed in Russian. So we
decided to remove the group and create a new one with the same - Tues, Nov 10

is no "adult content," as that term is commonly understood, in the group. The
adult content flag was set by mistake when I created due to a pitfall in the

some reason we lost ownership of it and it's now inundated with spam. We now
have a new group and we'd like to delete this old one. The Help section tells
me only owners can delete the group, but this isn't possible as there is no
