Job Title: Java Programmer

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position involves absorbing, documenting, and technical process flow development for E-Business applications and processes via a "Train the Trainer" context. The E-Business environment is:

· Java/J2EE web-based application running in 7 major call centers in the U.S./International.

· Java/J2SE back-end (batch) processes running on an iSeries/AS400 platform.

· Java/J2EE web-based customer-facing web applications in support of various clients.

· Application support responsibilities which accounts for approximately 20% of typical developer’s time overall.

1. Java/J2EE, (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, MVC, Struts/Tiles, JavaScript, XML)

2. Oracle (proficient with RDBMS), Schema, complex SQL, PLSQL, database query optimization/tuning

3. Websphere (RAD6)

4. Design Patterns

5. EJB 2.0

Solid hands-on development experience in a large, commercial-grade web application development environment (100 or more users). Experience with commercial IDE/Application Server as well as Struts/MVC is key and candidate should have the ability to comprehend and apply new technologies as well.
