Seaside, CA. 12 months contract.

Best rate $50/hr.

 

Job Description :

Responsible for the development and support of business applications.
Identifies and organizes detailed user and technology information requirements.
Designs, develops, implements, and supports business applications using Java technologies.
Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
Builds, confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the client.
Develops and executes unit test plans, ensuring that results are documented and reviewed with Quality Assurance teams responsible for integrated testing.
Develops technical documentation in support of new development, upgrades, and enhancements.
All work to be performed on site, no telecommuting.
• Interacts with the client and business analysts to gain an understanding of the business and technological requirements.
• Analyzes requirements and develops technical design.
• Develops technical specifications document.
• Develops code.
• Develops and executes unit test plans.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation.
• Applies metrics to monitor performance.

 

Technology Requirements :

  JAVA/J2EE including Servlets, JDBC, JAVA Beans, JMIS, XML, and XSLT.

  Apache Struts, Log4J, Ant, JUnit, and CVS.

  Knowledge of and experience in Internet services architecture and Web-based programming languages in order to develop and implement web sites related to personnel selection and classification. This includes experience with JAVA-based web development, HTML and JAVA script.

  Working experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and demonstrated ability to write SQL statements as required.

  Oracle J Developer, SUN One Studio is desired, including application deployment

 

Business Analysts: 2

Seaside, CA. 12 months contract.

Best rate $42/hr.

 

Acts as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support groups.
Identifies business processes, systems, and product requirements.
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements.
Researches, identifies and develops solutions to problems, and documents requirements specifications.
Develops and initiates unit test cases for software applications.
Supports integrated systems tests, working with internal and external clients to resolve issues.
Works with technical writers to develop user documentation. Maintains project documentation.
Supports all aspects of the business cycle, including proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
Combines industry and technology expertise to develop innovative business solutions.
May leads teams on projects, studies, implementations, and process improvements.
All work is to be performed on site, no telecommuting.

  Interacts with the client and business analysts to gain an understanding of the business and technological requirements.

  Analyzes requirements and develops functional requirements.

  Develops and executes unit test plans.

  Analyze business systems problems and develop solutions.

  Develops and maintains project documentation.

  Applies metrics to monitor performance.

 

  Technology Requirements :

  Microsoft Office, MS Project, and SQL Plus.

  Experience with applications developed in the following platforms is a plus: UNIX, Oracle, Java, PL/SQL, and C++.

  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  Demonstrated ability to develop business process and data flows for complex systems.

  Demonstrated ability to provide System Development Life Cycle plans, schedules, and documentation.

  Experience with DoD healthcare, or customer service call/support centers a plus.
