PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS
The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks:
· Provide Middleware technical support for various CalPERS projects including but not limited to the Internal and External PSR interfaces.
· Provide ANSI 834 expertise.
· Provide secure file exchange and partner management support as needed.
· Provide Investment Office support as needed.
· Provide maintenance and support of existing production Middleware processes including defect fixes and enhancements as needed.
· Provide mentoring/training of the Middleware JCAPS infrastructure to State technical staff to develop a sound understanding of the environment and the existing components and processes.
· Comply with all Middleware software configuration management and release management processes and procedures.
· Perform quality assurance reviews as appropriate.
· Attend project, staff, and management meetings as required.
· Provide status and time reporting as required.

The payment structure for activities performed per this Statement of Work is:

The payment structure for activities performed for this Statement of Work is Time and Materials. No per diem and/or expenses will be paid.
PROJECT CONSULTANT RATES and RESUMES
Key Personnel are assigned to the CalPERS Contract Number referenced above. Resume(s) for Key Personnel are attached as Appendix A. Completed questionnaire(s) for Key Personnel are attached as Appendix B.
The Key Personnel must meet the following additional minimum qualifications.

| 1. | Must have at least 6 years of design and development experience pertaining to distributed application development with an emphasis on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) utilization, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation, or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). |
| 2. | Must have at least 6 years of experience with J2EE technologies with strong JAVA development background as it pertains to A2A (Application-to-Application) and B2B (Business-to-Business) integration. |
| 3. | Must have at least 4 years of combined experience in SeeBeyond 4.5.3 and JCAPS 5.x partner management using eXchange (with at least 2 years specifically in JCAPS) including partner profile setup and maintenance, key exchange/management, and the use of encryption/decryption tools for securing data. |
| 4. | Must have at least 4 years of experience in designing and developing HIPPA-compliant EDI infrastructure and services for ANSI 834. |
| 5. | Must have at least 2 years of experience working with Oracle relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL to retrieve/update data via Middleware services. |
| 6. | Must have at least 2 years of experience working with mainframe databases to retrieve/update data via Middleware services. |
| 7. | Must have at least 2 years of experience developing web services using Sun's JCAPS 5.1.x. |
| 8. | Must have at least 1 year of experience working on Investment trade applications involving the use of SWIFT messages and the handling of financial security information. |
| 9. | Must have at least 1 year of experience with the integration of the JCAPS B2B Suite with Sun Directory Server to support partner management. |
| 10. | Must have at least 1 year of experience implementing ANSI 834 validation using Foresight Instream software. |
| 11. | Must have at least 1 year of experience working with XML data formats. |
| 12. | Must have experience working on Windows, Unix, and Linux computing platforms. |
| 13. | Must have experience with developer tools such as Rational Rose (UML), Eclipse IDE, Ant, PVCS, Subversion, and Maven. |
Ø Experience with CalPERS' Middleware applications framework is desirable but not required.
