to process all of our bulk subscription requests on fairly regular basis, so

Group Hijacked - 1 new
----------------------
... This sounds like it is another case of the dreaded "Joined 21 December,
1969" issue. It is a common problem that has been around for over a month and
Google is being very slow in fixing. Go to the following thread and let them
know about the issue: <URL: [link]... - Tues, Oct 20 2009 2:01 am

I don't know why this got posted in the BASICS so Iam re-posting here: The
above-referenced group is mine and I haven't used it for at least three years.
Now, I would like to re-activate it and I can't remember how to access,
username or password. I have tried all kinds of combinations with no luck. I
don't even remember if I used this - Tues, Oct 20 2009 4:19 am

Uninvited Member(s) on My Private Group (hacking?) - 1 new

Is it possible for someone to self-invite themselves to a group? This morning
three new members appeared in my group and posted messages without me having
invited them (I'm the owner). The group settings were: - Only members can view

Adding Members - 2 new
----------------------
I have tried in the past few days to add two new members to my group. The e-
mail has been received by each of the prospective new members and they
followed the directions to confirm their e-mail addresses. However, neither of
them has been able to gain access to the group. I went into the open
invitations because I intended to unsubscribe - Tues, Oct 20 2009 7:44 am

Our elementary school has 32 Google Groups, one for each classroom. The
administration would like to send occasional alerts to everyone. I created a
root Google Group for the school, hoping that I would be able to add all the
32 Google Groups as members, but it seems as if I cannot do this. Is there any
way for the administration to send an email to all the - Tues, Oct 20 2009 8:

I would like to know the answer to this problem too. It seems strange that
group owners are not given a clear method of dealing with such a common issue.

I am having the same issue, were you able to get it resolved. I initially
