Position:        Developer
Location:       Chicago, IL
Duration:       6-12 Months

Contractor will be working on SDK (Software Development Kits) for end client.
Design and Implement various features within our SDK products.
Review and help estimate implementation times.
Support QA and Tech Support in dealing with product releases and company SDKs and customers.
Support Customer conference calls as a company software expert.
Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced engineers in how to implement their own assignments.
Work with lead WWAN SDK engineer to maintain architecture and continue integration of multiple subprojects.

Experience/skills required:
Six to Eight years related work experience
Hands-on experience in the following applications and technologies:
C and C++
MS VC++
Experience developing and supporting C or C++ based SDKs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Skills interacting cross functionally with various company associates especially the engineering and quality assurance staffs
Experience working in a fast paced team environment.
Experience working with 3rd party APIs AND building and supporting C and C++ APIs
Experience working with numerous International Carriers (Verizon, IPHONE etc) on technical items.
Extensive experience with handsets and handset interfaces a plus.
