Hello, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not even American, but as worker and Google group
user, I'd like to say you what I would do at your place. First of all, I would
avoid the use of workplace mail addresses. I think that an employer can
actually discipline (and eventually limit) the use of of the company mail
server. - Thurs, Sep 17 2009 1:50 am

incorrectly reported discussion as spam - 3 new

I incorrectly reported a discussion as spam in one of my groups and it has now
vanished completely. There appears no way to display it in order to unmark it
and so make it reappear in the topics list. I'm also concerned that the people
who posted on the thread may now be marked as spammers for all forums/email. -

Why does moderation disable spam filters? - 2 new
-------------------------------------------------
Google Groups did a great job of filtering out spam from my group. (My group
allows anyone to post.) However, when I tried to control the last 10% of spam
that got past the filters by moderating messages from non-members, then ALL
messages from non-members were routed to the manager, not just the ones that
passed the spam filter. Is there - Thurs, Sep 17 2009 7:54 am

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 2 new

Google Groups, All my Google Group Sites have been marked by Google as Spam. (
My site has nothing but Financial Content and has nothing to do with anything
that can be banned!) My business has been badly affected by this. Please
remove all my Google Group Sites from Google's Spam List. - Thurs, Sep 17 2009

Editing Member's preferences/options - 1 new

Hello, Another attempt to do. I understand your member is not having a true
nickname, so Google by default is showing as nickname the full mail address.
If I'm right, or he's able to access the group via web, go to Edit my
membership and implement a (short!) nickname, or you can do it at his - Fri,
