Job Title: WebSphere, z/OS Installation/Support Consultant

Location: Livingston, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

NOTE: An ideal candidate might be somebody who changed disciplines from MVS, z/OS (mainframe) to Unix/Open Systems. Strong knowledge of WebSphere is a must and knowledge of UNIX (and Unix Systems Services on z/OS), Java, XML, and Process Server is a huge plus.

 

Required Skills:

�         This position is responsible for the Design, Installation, and Support of WebSphere on the z/OS Operating System mainframe platform.

�         This individual will also design, install, and support WebSphere Process Server (WPS), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and HTTP Web Server on the z/OS platform.

�         Secondary to WebSphere, this individual will support z/OS itself, including all related third party software products.

�         This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment.

�         Strong customer focus and communication skills are also required.
