Job Description:.
This is a bit different than the usual Java/J2EE Wells developer.
The focus of this position is building a high performing java-based file processing component.
You will be responsible for analysis, design and coding to requirements.
This position requires a strong understanding of complex interfaces including mainframe stored procedures and File Transformation software such as Informatica.
Short-term you will be expected to quickly get up to speed with the environment and become familiar with the existing application.
Long-term results for which you will be responsible are to contribute directly to the success of the project as you grow in knowledge of the platform and come to know the needs of our customers.
PLUS:.
Experience with Informatica or Data Transformation/Translation Software Experience with International banking, SWIFT messages and SWIFTNet.
This person will be writing Java code that will process data rather than work with a front-end, interfacing with Mainframe Cobol Stored Procedures.
We need to implement schedule-based processes that pull date from the mainframe, format the data into a SWIFT message and send to SWIFTNet.
