QA Engineer with Fixed income Experience

 

Location: New York, NY

 

Duration: 6 months

 

QA Engineer will work in a small development team and is fully responsible for end to end testing of software applications. Candidate will partner with business users to ensure applications are delivered according to specifications. This is a brand new role and hence the candidate should have strong sense of quality control process and promote best practices that could later be adopted at enterprise level.

Required Skills

1. 6+ yrs of experience
2. Ability to write Comprehensive Test plans
3. Proficient with automated test tools - QuickTest and use it extensively to build a enterprise wide testbed.
4. Must have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
5. Basic Knowledge of SQL is required.
6. Perform Black box and white box testing
7. Experience in managing issue logging database and provide test metrics.
8. Works closely with development team and provide direction in crafting out good unit test cases.
9. Experience in Financial Industry preferred - Fixed Income Trading.
10. Basic knowledge of C# to write automated test cases using NUnit Framework.
