Technical Skills:

Databases:  Oracle 9i, 10g, MS Access, SQL Server
Operating systems:  Unix, Windows XP, NT
Tools:  TOAD, SqlPlus, UltraEdit. Reflections, Autosys
Languages:  PL/SQL, C, Perl, Pro*C, Shell Scripting

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced PL/SQL developer / analyst with 5+ years of hands-on experience to support an Oracle data warehouse.  This person must be a strong analyst that can develop technical specs and also develop and test. 

 

Requirements:

• Should be able to write packages, procedures, functions, and triggers as well as be able to create tables with constraints and that are indexed.
• Must be able to read and write shell scripts. 
• Good DDL and DML writing skills are essential.
• Should be able to tune own code as well as existing code.
• Need to be able to manipulate files and move data round a server and from one server to another.
• Must be comfortable working in a data mart/data warehouse environment. 
• Needs to be able to read and write technical documents and specs. 
• Good understanding in life cycle methodology and scheduling tools
• Must be well organized, team player, with excellent problem solving skill.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skilks
