SAP HR Configurer/Analyst

Position Description

SAP HR Configuration Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Fully, clearly and accurately document systems and process for future state vision of CLIENT
  • Assist in gap analysis between CLIENT requirement and SAP functionality, review and adopt new functionality in SAP
  • Review CLIENT process requirements and suggest further enhancements and improvements where possible
  • Configure SAP system settings according to CLIENT business requirements and document all configuration
  • Execute and document Unit, Integration and Parallel Testing resolving defects as necessary
  • Define User Authorization profiles and security roles
  • Identify needs for systems development, specify requirements and review data requirements with Development team
  • Develop interface designs to the identified legacy systems and applications
  • Work with Third Party Vendors on interface requirements and testing procedures
  • Develop work procedures for user related to SAP system
  • Assist in the preparation and validation of end user training and documentation
  • Report delays and risks to team leads
  • Assist in identifying data to be cleansed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years SAP HR experience
  • Expert ability to configure SAP HR PA module including infotypes, personnel actions, and dynamic actions
  • Heavy experience in writing functional specifications
  • Ability to write test scripts and conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Experience in Public Sector Environment (K-12 preferred)
  • Experience with Concurrent Employment preferred
  • Experience with Quality Center a plus
  • Experience with Solution Manager a plus
  • ABAP debugging skills a plus
  • Additional experience in other HR/Payroll modules a plus
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements to be met by HR Master Data
  • Experience with conversion and LSMW a plus
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Committed to project success
