Groups asking me to view content sent to my group as it may be spam. The
messages give a link to Google Groups to supposedly accept or reject the
posting, which I have been doing. I have not opened the actual potential spam,

Need to transfer ownership of group without owner - 2 new

Hi, The creator/owner of our group [link]has moved on and we have not been
able to reach him. We are now getting random spam emails from the group. We
would like to transfer the ownership of the site to myself so I can perform
the proper maintenance, or have the group deleted to stop the spam. Any help -

I have been trying for MONTHS to transfer a yahoo group into google (a measly
235 members) and I keep getting people "non-verified." I have tried deleting
them and adding them. I have tried deleting them and inviting them. It seems
that whatever I do, either google steps in and adds them, which results in "
