Description

This position will be needed to provide research and assist in the implementation of new network technology such as voice over IP, Quality of Server (QOS), Video Conferencing, etc., and to provide ongoing support of the DWD network infrastructure. There are a number of network upgrade projects (new switch installs, router upgrades, etc.) that need to be completed by December 31, 2009. This position would also assist with the server co-location project which is TSS's number one priority for fiscal year 2010. This position will enable BITS to support the expanding base infrastructure which hosts critical applications for DWD including systems for the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division, Employment and Training Division (DET), and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) Division.

*Network Design (10+ years)
*Has extensive experience (10+ years) using Network Management and Monitoring tools such as Scrutinizer, Sniffer, Wire Shark, etc.

*Quality of Service (QOS)
*Voice over IP
*Video Conferencing
